For a small island, Malta packs a punch when it comes to family holidays. Formerly under British rule their is a distinct home from home feeling with familiar red postboxes, driving on the left and English being a widely spoken language. For animal lovers, families can enjoy a fun filled day at the LWS Animal Park. This is an interactive animal experience where families can wander amongst the deer, monkeys and mountain goats. A well equipped attraction with easy access for those with disabilities.

In the summer months temperatures really soar on this beautiful island. To cool off families can enjoy a day at the Splash and Fun Water Park. Children and grown ups will find plenty of things to do including a variety of slides, sun decks by the sea, a dinosaur park and delicious snack bar serving cold drinks and ice cream.

Things to do in Malta with kids

Malta not only has fantastic beaches for the younger ones, they will enjoy a day out at one of the most popular family attractions, the Marine Park at Bahar ic-Caghaq, where you can get close up to sealions and the older kids ones can swim with dolphins. Splash and Fun Waterpark is just adjacent, so you can finish the day off shooting down the four water slides or playing in the playground.

Malta’s Blue Grotto promises a breathtaking experience in one of Malta’s distinctive sea caves. Float in a boat through the caves and see how the sunlight hits the grotto in from below to give it its brilliant blue hue. More details...
