Children will love a visit to Lisbon’s Parque das Nações with its amazing oceanarium or getting their bucket and spades out at Costa da Caparica, or one of the stunning beaches along the wild western coast, such as; at Vila Nova de Milfontes, Odeceixe, or the quiet Zambujeira do Mar. The Algarve is the most popular of the regions with families, for its mild climate, excellent sandy beaches, gorgeous coves, first class golf courses and charming resorts.
Choose from lively Lagos, and Albufeira and stylish Villamoura, set around its large port full of bars and restaurants. If you are looking for something a little more peaceful, choose Carvoeiro or Praia de Rocha.
