There are plenty of stunning gardens found around Lake Garda region. Parco Giardino Sigurtais is a stone´s throw from Lake Garda, it is a wonderful fusion of a park, or wooded area of tall trees, and a garden, as a bounded space with flower beds and ornamental plants. These huge stunning gardens are considered to be the top five in the world!

Parco Natura Viva
The one the kids will love, as well as adults, the 40 hectare Parco Faunistico (Fauna park) also houses around 200 animals from all over the world. It's also involved in the conservation of rare plants which are in danger of becoming extinct.

The Safari Park is great for kids, as you can drive through the windy road, seeing hippos and rhinos , exotic and native birds living in perfect harmony,. This section hosts also the largest colony of chimpanzees you can see in Italy. The botanical path will take you on a voyage of discovery of some 30 arboreal species, the facts, their characteristics, and use and in the Dinosaur Park you can see the life-sized models of the big Reptiles in scientific life scene reconstruction and discover also their habits. The models represent both giant and smaller specimen, some of them found in Italy.
 

When to visit Lake Garda with kids?

With fairly temperate weather, Lake Garda can be visited any time of year. The best months to travel with children is between May and September.

How to get to there?

The gateway airports for Garda lake are Verona for the eastern half of the lake or Brescia for the western part. Milan-Malpensa is reasonably close too.
