London is wonderful to visit any time of year, with its interesting museums, beautiful parks, broadway shows, themed restaurants and more.

Many parents are wary of a trip to the big city with the kids, but don’t let it put you off, there is so much on for the whole family to experience.  Take a London Bus to Hyde Park where the younger children will have a great time splashing or climbing about   the popular Princess Dianas Memorial Playground. Parents can get to sit back with a coffee before taking a stroll along to one of the excellent museums that are situated just south of Kensington Gardens, such as; the Natural History and Science Museums. Both are free to enter; the basement floor of the Science Museum with its interactive exploratory area is a must for the inquisitive toddler. 

Animal lovers will have an interesting time visiting London Zoo at Regents Park, or Battersea Park Childrens Zoo, where you will come face to face with the animals, or head over to the London Aquarium for a fascinating experience via submarine lift to depths of the Ocean to see the green turtles, octopuses, and clown fish.  For the one of the best sightseeing trips  don't miss a flight on the London Eye, or a thrilling high speed boat ride along London’s historic river reaching speeds of up to 35 knots!


Things to Do in London with Kids

Diana Princess of Wales Memorial Playground is a popular playground for children up to the age of 12 with it pirate ship, and play sculptures. This well thought out play area also has equipment suitable for children with special needs.

Kids will have fun at Ripley’s Believe It or Not!  featuring over 800 weird and wacky exhibits focusing on the hard to believe, the strange but true, and the bizarre, ranging from a Swarovski crystal coated Mini Cooper to a copy of The Last Supper painted on a grain of rice and everything in between!

The mysterious London Aquarium is home to one of the largest collections of global marine life and sits in the heart of London.
