The Eden Project is wholly owned by the Eden Trust, an educational charity,Eden is first and foremost about reminding us of our dependence on, and connection to, the natural world.

The Eden Project is a visitor attraction in the United Kingdom, including the world's largest greenhouse. Inside the artificial biomes are plants that are collected from all around the world.
The Eden Project is wholly owned by the Eden Trust, an educational charity. The exhibits, events, workshops and educational programmes to remind people of our dependence on, and connection to, the natural world. Over a million people every year to join in the events and learn from the exhibits and to ensure all the visitors leave knowing something more about their connections to the world.
Explore the steamy humid tropical regions of the world visiting tropical islands, South East Asia, West Africa and Tropical South America. You’ll see the massive forests, luscious tropical plants, a huge crashing waterfall, homesteads and, if you are lucky, birds and insects. A wide array of smallholdings, plantations and exhibits growing sugar cane, bananas, coffee and much more show how we are connected to these far off places.
Eden is great for the kids. There are imaginative children's play areas, impromptu storytelling, workshops and the trails featuring endless leafy places to play with shortcuts and hideaways, stepping stones and sandpits.

Your reviews

Fantastic Day Out with the family My family thoroughly enjoyed the Eden Project, this once China Clay pit has been transformed into an amazing stunning garden with two large biomes, one mediterrean and the other the rainforest, (which is very hot), carry plenty of water for the kids, and vests under your clothes as you will want to strip off in here! You arrive to a stunning view over the Valley and can jump on the train that is pulled by a tractor to take you down to the domes, which is a hit with the kids! The rainforest has lots of interesting plants and tree's. There are lots of interesting facts to learn as you go round (about 30mins), such as how products such as Cola and chewing gum is produced, and younger ones will enjoy certain areas along the way such as the banana tree area where they can listen to bananas in Pajamas. The cafe offers a fabulous selection of food, and the largest portions I have ever seeen of quiches, sandwiches, and cakes, which you eat off of wooden boards. It is an honesty cafe where you pay on the way out, which I found very refreshing concept! The Core is good for the kids, there are fridges fronts where they can spell out their name in magnets, or watch the nutcracking machine. I didnt think the Eden Project would be totally suitable for our 2 and 4 year olds having read reviews, but was pleasantly surprised that my children seemed to have plenty to see and do, whilst we got to look at the fabulous plants and gardens. ...
