In the summertime Bled and the surroundings offer great opportunities for enjoying the outdoors – take walks in nature, do some sports or sightseeing – Bled Castle and many churches and galleries are nearby. You can walk through the Vintgar Canyon, the cave under the Babji Zob or visit the waterfall under Iglica. It is also possible to rent a kayak or a raft and paddle down the Sava Bohinjka River. In winter, Bled becomes a picturesque ski resort, suited both for beginners and experienced skiers – they can take advantage of the 4 ski centres nearby, connected by a bus line.
