Originally built as a palace in 1876 the building was carefully renovated into a hotel in 1998 and still conserves many of its original features and character of its neoclassical style: the facade has romantic and baroque details; there is a generous entrance that would have been used for the transit of old carriages, that leads up to a magnificent interior courtyard, which today is the hotel's reception and bar from which you can admire the marble stairs that take you up to the 74 rooms set over 5 floors.
Room information
The rooms have been carefully decorated in yellows and the furniture and bed covers with their soft blue colour make an attractive contrast. Rooms are also well-equipped and all have Sky TV with pay per view movies.
Food & beverage
Start the day with a buffet breakfast, served in a marquee in the hotel garden. Delicious Catalan cuisine is served at the hotel’s new El Jardí de l’Angel restaurant, open for lunch and dinner (13.00-16.00 and 20.00-23.00).

Located in a building belonging to the Artistic Heritage list of Barcelona, the Catalonia Albinoni hotel has an excellent location above a main pedestrian street, between the Barrio Gótico and Plaza de Catalunya. Surrounding the hotel, you will find all the emblematic sites of the city such as the Cathedral, Las Ramblas and the Paseo de Gracia with its Modernist-style buildings and the most famous shopping boutiques.

Situated between the Plaza Catalunya and the Barrio Gotico, and close to Las Ramblas, the hotel is positioned perfectly for easy access to the main attractions, restaurants and bars. Taking your comfort and rest into consideration, renovation work was carried out in June 2007 to offer you double glazing in the exterior rooms and improvements to the facilities.
Important information
For reservations for more than 5 rooms, a prepayment is required: Once the reservation is made, the hotel will get in touch with the customer to agree on how to prepare the prepayment. The hotel’s new exterior swimming pool is available from the 20 June 2008 onwards. It features a waterfall and comes surrounded by a decked sun terrace.

Cancellation Policy: If cancelled up to 1 day before the date of arrival, no fee will be charged. If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the first night will be charged. Children and Extra Bed Policy: All children are welcome. All children from 0 to 12 years stay free of charge when using existing bedding. All children under 2 years stay free of charge for cots. All older children or adults are charged EUR 35.00 per night and person for extra beds. Maximum capacity of extra beds/babycots in a room is 1. Deposit Policy: No deposit will be charged. VAT and city/tourist taxes: VAT is included. Service charge is included. City/tourist tax is not applicable. Internet: Wireless internet is available in the entire hotel and is free of charge. Meal Plan: Buffet breakfast costs EUR 13.00 per person. Parking: No parking available. Pets: Pets are not allowed. The hotel reserves the right to pre-authorise credit cards prior to arrival.
