Built in the year 2000, the Hostal San Miguel contains all the modern facilities you would expect, including air conditioning throughout and double-glazed balcony doors. One of the few small hotels in Nerja to offer a buffet breakfast, the hotel also includes a cafeteria and meeting room/cinema.
Room information
In addition to the facilities already mentioned, certain rooms have kitchenettes (available on request and for a surcharge). All rooms either offer balconies or easy access (ground-floor location).
Food & beverage
The San Miguel serves a Nordic breakfast buffet between 09.00 and 10.00 (this should be ordered the evening before or earlier). When possible, during daytime in the cafeteria, we also serve drinks and snacks as well as light meals such as hot dogs or toasts with cheese and ham.
Area information
On the outskirts of Nerja you will find some of Europe’s most impressive caves – large enough to host orchestras and other concerts. The cities of Málaga and Granada are both within a 2-hour drive from Nerja.
Travel information
By Bus: The airport bus (number 19) leaves about every half hour and takes you to the central bus station in Malaga. When at the station, head to the Alsina Graells booth and purchase a ticket. The bus usually departs from place 38. The journey to Nerja typically takes 2 hours.

This small, recently built hotel is set in the heart of the tranquil and picturesque resort of Nerja. The town’s beautiful beaches are only a short walk away. Located just off the town’s main street of La Pintada, the surrounding charming streets lead down to the beaches and the famous Balcón de Europa headland. When not on the beaches you can take a dip in the hotel’s outdoor swimming pool, enjoy a cold beer in the bar, or simply lie in the sun and take in the views of the sea and mountains from the rooftop terrace. Thanks to its position only 2 blocks from the bus station, you can easily explore the rest of Andalusia from here. Modern amenities include free Wi-Fi, internet point and free telephone calls to 36 countries. There is also a library, where you can swap books to read during your relaxing stay. Start each day with the buffet breakfast and enjoy drinks from the cafe throughout the day.

The reception is open from 10:00 to 14:00 and 17:00 to 20:00. Please contact the hotel in advance if you are scheduled to arrive outside of these opening hours.
