Hotel information
The first written records of the house date back to the 15th century. Well-preserved basement rooms are from the Gothic period. Renaissance style is manifested in the painted beam ceilings in the restaurant and in some rooms while the entrance portal is the result of a Baroque reconstruction of the house. Later adaptations brought new architectural elements, among which are quite outstanding the classicist ones. The last renovation preserved the historical character of the building and completed it carefully with luxury facilities of the modern way of life. The authenticity of history is emphasized also by original period furniture, specially selected for each room.

Restaurant - when it's time to have dinner, our restaurant sets exemplary standards of excellent cuisine and service. A wide range of tempting dishes is prepared by our superior chefs in the tradition of the finest Czech or International cuisine. Tavern - whenever you become thirsty you can have a glass of wine or an original Czech Pilsner Beer in our tavern. Its interior is pleasant even in the hottest of days, thanks to the centuries-old stone walls. Bar - our bar located in an original 1350's limestone cellar is open from 11:00 to 23:00. Come and choose from a wide variety of mixed drinks, or just have a good cup of coffee in this original Gothic setting.

The hotel is situated in the picturesque neighbourhood of Lesser Town in the historical centre, right on the Royal Route, in close vicinity of the main entrance gate to Prague Castle. All the other impressive sights of the Golden City are easily accessible on foot and many renowned restaurants can be found in the immediate vicinity.

By public transport: - Trams no. 12, 22 to the Malostranske namesti stop - Green metro line A to Malostranska station, then one stop by tram 12 or 22 to Malostranske namesti. The hotel can arrange a taxi transfer from the airport or the railway station.
